Freediving Knives
Does a freediver need to carry a knife?
All divers should carry a knife as a safety precaution against entanglement in fishing line or nets. In competition freediving and training this is not a requirement. Prior to the competition/training, the zone should have been checked for any risks and the freedivers are closely monitored by the safety divers.
