    Spearfishing Fins

Australia's largest range of spearfishing fins, freediving fins, fin blades and fin accessories.

You will need special spearfishing fins or freediving fins whenever you are out spearfishing. Spearfishing fins are longer and more flexible than scuba fins as they are designed to get the diver to greater depths while conserving energy and oxygen. The long flexible design of freediving and spearfishing fins is the most efficient way to propel yourself through the water.

If you are just starting out in spearfishing, plastic fins are a great entry-level product to get you out there and amongst the fish. Within plastic fins, there are two styles; modular fins or fixed blade fins. Fixed blade fins are your cheaper and typically stiffer fins that, if you absolutely love the sport, you will certainly outgrow within a year or so. A modular fin is what we recommend most divers start off with as these fins typically have much better quality plastics and rubbers used. Being modular, the foot pockets can also be used further down the track if you decide to upgrade from the plastic blades to a fibreglass or carbon blade which will mean you have a foot pocket that has already moulded to your foot but more importantly, saves you some hard-earned cash down the way.

However, if you are looking to take the next step in your spearfishing and greatly improve your diving one of the best investments you can make is in better fins. Composite spearfishing fins, such as carbon or fibreglass fin blades, will take you deeper with more efficiency and, being higher in quality, will last you for many years.
