Built for surfers who refuse to compromise on performance or warmth, the O'Neill Mens Hyperfreak 4/3mm CZ Steamer Wetsuit is O'Neill's flagship cold-water suit, engineered from the ground up with premium materials and a minimalist design philosophy. At 4/3mm+ thickness with an extra 0.5mm of neoprene where it counts, this suit is well suited to temperate Australian waters from around 11°C and up, making it a solid choice for surfers from the South Australian coastline through to the colder months in Victoria, NSW and WA. The Hyperfreak sits at the top of O'Neill's lineup, combining their most advanced TechnoButter neoprene formulations with a chest-zip entry, fully taped seams, and strategic seamless paddle zones to deliver a suit that moves with your body rather than against it. It's also part of O'Neill's Blue sustainability program, using recycled oyster shells, car tyres, reclaimed plastics, dope-dyed yarn, limestone neoprene, and solvent-free lamination throughout its construction.

- Body and Leg Neoprene (TechnoButter 3): The main panels use O'Neill's TechnoButter 3 neoprene, which is 20% lighter than standard neoprene and absorbs 30% less water. Less water uptake means the suit stays lighter and warmer throughout a session.
- Arms and Shoulders Neoprene (TechnoButter 3X): The highest-flex zones use TechnoButter 3X, O'Neill's lightest and most flexible neoprene. Positioned in the arms and shoulders, it maximises paddle freedom and reduces fatigue in the areas that matter most for surfing.
- Entry System (F.U.Z.E. Chest Zip Closure): The F.U.Z.E. system uses a free-floating zipper panel combined with an anti-flush barrier and drain holes. This design keeps flushing to a minimum while maintaining a clean, unrestricted range of motion across the chest.
- Seam Construction (GBS + TB3X Fully Taped): Glued and Blindstitched (GBS) seams use a stitch that only partially penetrates the neoprene, creating a highly watertight and flexible join. Triple-glued seams are further reinforced with TB3X 0.5mm split-neoprene tape bonded with water-based glue for added durability and waterproofing.
- Minimal Seam Design: Fewer seams mean fewer points of potential water entry, less bulk, and less friction on the skin. The strategic placement of seamless zones across paddle-critical areas also eliminates rashing under the arms and across the shoulders.
- Double Superseal Neck: A two-layer neck design with a 360-degree smooth-skin interior lining creates a snug, comfortable seal that reduces flushing at the collar without feeling restrictive or cutting into the skin.
- 360° Barrier with Drain Holes: Working in conjunction with the F.U.Z.E. closure, the internal barrier creates a full perimeter seal around the chest-zip entry point. Drain holes allow any water that does enter to exit quickly rather than pooling inside the suit.
- Krypto Knee Padz: Textured knee pads provide abrasion resistance for duck diving and board contact, while also offering an ergonomic pre-shaped fit around the knee for a more natural feel in the water.
- Aqua Alpha Solvent-Free Lamination: All neoprene panels are bonded using a water-based glue, replacing traditional solvent-based adhesives. This is a meaningful reduction in harmful chemical use during manufacturing.
- Eco Neoprene (Recycled Oyster Shells and Eco Carbon Black): The neoprene itself incorporates recycled oyster shells and eco carbon black as part of O'Neill's Blue sustainability program, which also includes recycled car tyres, plastics, dope-dyed yarn, and limestone neoprene throughout the construction.
- External Key Pocket with Loop: A small external key pocket with a securing loop keeps your car key accessible and safe without adding unnecessary bulk.

We care about your satisfaction. That's why returns to Adreno are fast & easy! If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to Adreno within 30 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions and exclusions below:
Eligibility Conditions
Please read conditions below. If all conditions are not met, Adreno reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee.
- All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact PLU code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and accessories. We can only refund or exchangeproducts provided theyhaven't been used in the water and are undamaged.
- Adreno is not responsible for mis-handling of products or ill-treatment of goods.
- Adreno is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise.
- Adreno is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the use of any merchandise bought from us including lost or stolen equipment.
- Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within 7 business days of receipt of merchandise.
- If returning a wetsuit for warranty assessment, please ensure the wetsuit is thoroughly dry inside and out, otherwise there will be a delay in processing your return for hygiene reasons.
Final Sale & Non-returnable Items
- Purchases via our Tightass Tuesday promotion cannot be exchanged or refunded.
- Clearance product from our monthly “Timed Sales” are eligible for return or refund. Exchange as long as stock is available of same item.
- Special order products or any other items indicated on our website as "Discontinued" or "Special Order" are non-refundable. These may incur a re-stocking surcharge and be returned as a voucher or store credit.
Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.
Returns & Exchanges
Securely pack all items that you would like to be returned and post mark via registered mail with tracking info as we are not liable for shipments which may go missing during transit. Please include the following with your package:
- Return must be accompanied with completed Return Authorisation form (below) and a copy of original receipt or invoice.
- Detailed note as to the reasons of the return
- Instructions as to whether you would like a refund or an exchange
- All items must be returned in original/unused condition.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs; however, if an exchange is requested, we will cover the cost of sending the replacement item.
Please allow 7-14 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed.

Refunds & Credits
Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow up to 30 days for a credit to appear on your account from received date. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase.
Purchases made via gift voucher will be refunded as a new gift voucher, they cannot be refunded as cash.

Standard - $14.99: Orders shipped to metropolitan areas are typically delivered within 2 - 4 days of the dispatch date, allow an additional 1 - 2 days for picking and packing of your order. Tracking details will be provided so that you can track the progress of your order.
Bulky Surcharge - $15: Many of the items we sell are large, and or heavy and require special handling and shipping services. The list of bulky product types is as follows, but is not strictly limited to: Scuba Cylinders, Spearguns, Long Blade Fins and Blades, Cray Loops, Crooks, Handspears, BCDs.
Jump The Queue Surcharge - $5: Orders placed before 2 pm AEST are packed and dispatched on the same day, while orders placed after 2 pm AEST are packed and dispatched the following business day. You'll receive tracking details so you can follow the progress of your order.
PO Box Surcharge - $10: Shipping to PO boxes incurs an additional charge from our couriers. Any item over 1m in length can not be shipped to PO Boxes.
Remote Area Surcharge - $20: Shipping to certain remote areas incurs an additional surcharge - these remote areas are defined by Australia Post. Use our easy postcode search to check if your postcode is remote - Postcode Search.

We offer our customers a 30 day returns policy, please go to our Returns Policy page for more information.
2. How do I know to choose the right size?
Please note that size charts do differ and so should be used as a guide only. If your item doesn’t fit, don’t worry we offer a 30 day Returns Policy so you can simply return and exchange for the right size.
3. When will my order be delivered?
Once your order has been received we aim to dispatch for delivery within 2-6 business days (excluding weekends) to major cities within Australia.We are unable to give an accurate delivery time estimation as it will vary depending on whether you live in a major city or in a remote location.
Deliveries to offshore territories can take up to several weeks to arrive.
For delivery within Australia we use Australia Post or StarTrack. Deliveries cannot be made on public holidays.

Please contact customs or your local postal service as your order may be delayed for inspection or duties/taxes may apply which are not paid for by Adreno. This is applicable to all International shipping methods.
5. Will I get charged duties or taxes?
Within Australia, prices are inclusive of Australian GST, however, depending on which country you live in, there may be additional taxes or import duties imposed at the receivers end. Adreno is not liable for these charges and it is up to the customer to liaise with Customs regarding their delivery.
In Australia there will be no additional costs.

We deliver to all states and territories of Australia.
Offshore islands and territories of Australia may incur additional postage costs, in which case ourCustomer Service team will contact you.

7. I ordered some items on the weekend, when will I receive them?
Our dispatch team operate from Monday to Friday and therefore any orders from the weekend will be shipped as soon as possible on our return to work the following Monday depending on volume of orders.
If you would like to guarantee your items are dispatched as soon as possible, there is an option during the online checkout process to select ‘Jump the Queue’ for a small additional fee.
8. I would like to cancel my order?
If your order has not been processed by our team then we are able to cancel the order however, please make sure you call us as soon as possible on (07) 3895 8119 and quote your order reference.
Unfortunately if your order has already processed then we will be unable to cancel it however, we do offer a 30 day returns policy.
9. My delivery address has changed?
Not a problem, as long as your items haven’t been shipped then we can easily change your details on our systems. Please call us as soon as possible, quoting your order reference on (07) 3895 8119.
10. How do I get my order shipped ASAP?
When you place your order, you will be given an option to purchase 'Jump the Queue' for an additional $5. If we receive your 'Jump the Queue' order and payment before 2pm QLD time, your order will be dispatched the same day (excluding weekends and public holidays). If the 'Jump the Queue' order is made after 2pm, it will be dispatched the next day.
To arrange this just tick the relevant box during the online order system or call us to place your order over the phone on (07) 3391 4905.
11. Do you deliver same day?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer same day delivery. There is a ‘Jump the Queue’ option for an additional $5 where if we receive your 'Jump the Queue' order and payment before 2pm (QLD time), your order will be dispatched the same day (excluding weekends and public holidays). If the 'Jump the Queue' order is made after 2pm, it will be dispatched the next day. To arrange this just tick the relevant box during the online order system or call us to place your order over the phone on (07) 3391 4905.
All Jump the Queue orders are also covered by Australia wide shipping insurance so you don't need to worry about your order going missing in the post. This insurance covers you against loss or damage that may be incurred during the shipping process.
12. What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by either PayPal, Credit Card or After Pay at the online checkout.
13. Is my information safe and secure?
When purchasing from Adreno your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is the industry standard.
