Choosing Between 14mm and 16mm Rubbers

14mm Rubber:
Thinner and more elastic, making it easier to load — ideal for beginners or those doing lots of reloads. It snaps back faster for a quick shot and has less recoil. Best paired with lighter shafts or shorter guns for close-range accuracy.

16mm Rubber:
Thicker and more powerful, giving greater force on the shot — but harder to load. Provides more momentum and better penetration, especially when hunting bigger fish or using heavier shafts. Best suited for experienced spearos and open-water hunting.

In short: 14mm = faster, easier loading | 16mm = stronger, deeper punch
