    Neoprene Tops

Wetsuit Tops, made from Neoprene, will keep your upper body warm when diving where it's not cold enough for a wetsuit.

Most Wetsuit Tops use a spandex/nylon external lining because of its great durability and stretch but can 'hold' water which makes them less effective against wind chill when compared with a smooth-skin lined jersey.  Smooth-skin is essentially a rubberised coat that causes water to run off instead of absorbing.  Why does all of this matter for a mens wetsuit vest? It all comes down to wind-chill because wind-chill is up to 25x more effective at wicking heat if your neoprene is damp, therefore smooth-skin gives you the best chance to defend against the wind. There's a lot of other factors you should be considering when buying any wetsuit product, and we recommend taking the time to consider which style will work best for you.
