Thermal tops are often 0.5mm in thickness, but their heat reflecting capabilities provides the warmth of a 2mm wetsuit! This means less neoprene, which can be restricting, but still a great amount of warmth.

Thermal tops are also a great addition to a wetsuit and can save you the money of buying a thicker wetsuit during winter. By simply adding a thermal rashie or vest underneath your wetsuit you will be getting the extra warmth at your core where you need it most without forking out hundreds of dollars for a new wetsuit.
